OPS Eval Terminal Test

Scenario

  • git: UCSE-MAIN
  • After fresh checkout copy source dir to /usr/local/scenarios/ on sdrr you are using
    • will be sdrr2 or sdrr4

SDRR2/4 Bring Up

  • Use VNC to login to sdrr2/4 as task23
    • vncconnect sdrr2/4 -u task23
  • cd S1P2/ZKC/
  • Launch sdrr: ./runsdrr

SDRR3 Bring Up

  • Use VNC to login to sdrr3 as task23
    • vncconnect sdrr3 -u task23
  • cd S1P2/ZID-ZME/
  • Launch sdrr: ./runsdrr

*NOTE: SDRR's must be up before bringing up dysim

Dysim Bring Up

  • Login to sdrr2/4
  • cd /usr/local/scenarios/UCSE-MAIN/
  • Execute: ./runDysim

Lab Start

  • Ensure lab PSIM/SSIM complete
  • Click start on the dysim
  • System commands will get injected, but no flights will get injected until manually released by user.

Scenario Format

  • All the terminal flights are on RSI 800+
  • They follow the following naming convention:
    • EX: TCN1R1
      • tracon scenario 1, release eligibility 1
    • EX: TCN1T1
      • tracon scenario 1, transfer of control 1

Additional Notes

Tracon handoffs (TI Messages)

  • All handoffs from the tracons-ERAM and tracon-tracon must be done manually in dysim
    • Open the messages window for the target you want and select the "Messages" tab.
    • For the Type select ifmsg
    • Enter the originating tracon in the first blank box (ex: sgf)
    • Enter the facility destination in the second blank box (ex: ZKC)
    • Right-click the test box and select "Create TI Message"
    • This will populate the box with a TI message from the Tracon.
      • example: TI K00 @@@ (0,0)(0,0) SGF1S
      • The K00 is the destination and can be modified to Facility[sector] you want

Host-Non-Host Handoffs

  • If a target is currently owned by a tracon in one facility but is then handing off to a ERAM sector in a different facility the TI message needs to be slightly modified.
    • For Example: Flight is owned by ZKC tracon SGF, and needs to be handed off to ZME sector 25. The following would apply:
      • Originating Box: SGF
      • Destination Box: ZKC
      • Modify TI message to send to ZME instead of ZKC: TI M00 @@@ (0,0)(0,0) SGF1S
